This movie from 1931 includes shots on the San Diego & Arizona Eastern Railway. In fact, the opening scene shows 2-8-0 Consolidation locomotive #103 leading a string of reefers eastbound through Jacumba, on its way towards the Carrizo Gorge. One of #103's sister engines is SD&AE #104, part of the collection at our Museum in Campo, CA.
