MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FOR 1969

The final quarter of 1968 is now upon us and it is time for all members in good standing (and some of those who are not) to renew for 1969. In the past our records have become somewhat muddled due to a lack of standardization in our renewal policies. This is going to change.

Elsewhere in this issue of the Report is a renewal form. ALL members should use this renewal form and mail it to: John Hathaway, Director of Personnel and Records, at the address listed. Your check for next year's dues ($10 for Regular membership and $3 for contributing) should be included. Instead of having every officer of the museum receiving checks from members for renewals as has been the case in the past, all incoming records and money will go to the Director of Records and Personnel, who will then record and turn checks over to the treasurer for deposit.

Also in the past, many of our members have not kept up with their yearly dues, but because of our poor records they have not been dropped from membership rolls and the Report mailing list. This is the last chance for these people to remain on our rolls without having to go through the trouble of filling out a regular application form (and in the case of regular members, going through the six month probationary period). After March 15, 1969, a complete official roster will be prepared consisting of those members who have paid dues for 1969. This roster will be used as the mailing list for the Report.

In the last couple of years PSRMA has been growing rapidly with the acquisition of new equipment and more posibilities of a museum site. We have to maintain an accurate set of records more than ever now to keep up with our growth.
